Today, a trailer leaked online for the now-canceled Powerpuff Girls live-action TV show. Writer Diablo Cody developed the project during the pandemic era, starring Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault. The network was still working on several big Warner Brother IPs like Riverdale or from DC Comics, like Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. This was an extremely grown-up version of the kid’s cartoon, as the three heroes are now adults living their lives before getting called back to Townsville. The pilot was filmed twice but ultimately tested so poorly that it was never picked up as an entire series.
