After DC Universe’s upcoming series Stargirl got pushed back from this fall to early 2020; many weren’t sure how to take if the show was going to be successful or not. Now it’s been revealed the upcoming series will debut on both DC Universe and The CW. It was rumored for a while that DC Universe might drop the show altogether for The CW to pick it up. However, it looks like it will just debut on both.

The reason it was pushed back and set to debut in 2020 is that Stargirl is expected to make an appearance in The CW’s upcoming mega-crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths next month before debuting on her own show.
