Today, our friends over at The Illuminerdi revealed that casting is underway for the main villain in Sony Pictures Kraven the Hunter feature film. The report states that the Spider-Man villain Chameleon will indeed be one of the villains (possibly more) in the spin-off film. The studio is looking for a “mid-thirties actor” for the role.

Many comic book fans know that Chameleon is the half-brother of Kraven, so it obviously makes sense. Last month Aaron Taylor-Johnson was announced to be playing the antihero in his own film. JC Chandor will direct the project for producers Amy Pascal and Avi Arad.

Kraven the Hunter hits theaters January 13th, 2023
