Today, a report has announced that Paramount Pictures, alongside Nickelodeon, have begun early development on a Rugrats live-action/CGI hybrid movie. Jason Moore will helm the film after his time in 2012’s Pitch Perfect. This film will be written by Mikey Day along with Streeter Seidell. The studio tried developing a live-action/hybrid film in 2019 with Diary of a Wimpy Kid director David Bowers, but it never materialized (via NickALive).
