Today, a new report has revealed that actor Bradley Cooper is circling a lead role in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming G.I. Joe reboot. This reboot has been written by comedian Danny McBride, who previously worked on the 2018 Halloween reboot. The report states that he would be taking over for Chris Hemsworth, who dropped out. Hemsworth was originally thought to be attached to the Transformers/G.I.Joe’s crossover film by screenwriter Derek Connolly, though it seems it will be for this Danny McBride film instead. It’s currently unknown what the status of the crossover film is, unless this film comes out first and leads into the crossover. It should be noted that no deal is in place, and Cooper hasn’t really done any major franchises in years, aside from voicing Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy.
G.I.Joe has no set release date
