Today, a report announced that Amazon MGM has canceled the Spider-Noir live-action TV series for Prime Video. The project was a semi-spin-off from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and saw the return of Nicholas Cage as the Ben Riley version of the character. The series was nominated for 11 Emmys and currently holds a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was showrun by Oren Uziel (The Lost City) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The Punisher), while being produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Into the Spider-Verse). The streaming service was also developing a live-action TV series based on Silk with Lord & Miller, but it never got off the ground.
