Several months ago, X-Men 97′ head writer Beau DeMayo was let go by Marvel Studios following some unannounced issue. DeMayo helped write several other MCU projects, including a draft of Blade and tweaked Moon Knight. The real reason he was let go by the studio is still unknown. A report has announced that screenwriter Matthew Chauncey has been tapped as the new head writer alongside director Jake Castorena. He will take over for the planned season 3 of the animated series as season 2 is already completed. Chauncey has already worked with Marvel on their What If…? animated series.
X-Men 97′ season 2 has no set release date
