Today, a report revealed that screenwriter Michael Green has been tapped to pen the rumored Midnight Sons feature film. Green is best known for developing Netflix’s Blue Eye Samurai, Logan, and Blade Runner 2049. The project has been long rumored as it’s expected to culminate all of the MCU’s occult heroes, such as Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, Werewolf By Night, Blade, and possibly Ghost Rider.

Green recently finished rewriting Blade, so it makes sense that the film will lead directly into a Midnight Sons team-up film, as these characters rarely interact with The Avengers. The project was first teased with a registered trademark back during SDCC 2021 but has yet to be officially announced by the studio. Composer-turned-director Michael Giacchino has been rumored to helm the project after working on the Werewolf by Night special presentation. Production on the Midnight Sons film could begin shortly after Blade completes filming, though that is pure speculation.

Midnight Sons has no set release date
