Today, DC announced that singer and actress Becky G will lend her voice as the AI inside of the Blue Beetle suit. Becky G is best known for her role as the Yellow Ranger in 2017’s Power Rangers. We at Knight Edge Media heard earlier this year the scarab would indeed have a female voice as opposed to the classic male voice found on Young Justice. We also learned that the female voice will make several sexual jokes about Jaimie Reyes (played by Xolo Maridueña) since he is a male teenager inside the suit.

Blue Beetle hits theaters on August 18th
