Production on Marvel Studios Captain America: New World has already begun down in Atlanta. The fourth film in the Captain America saga will feature Sam Wilson as the new Captain America as he takes on The Leader played once again by Tim Blake Nelson. Now, set photo photographer Atlanta Filming has revealed that Liv Tyler has been spotted in Atlanta, presumably for Captain America (later confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter).

She played Bruce Banner’s original love interest Betty Ross in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Though she’s been absent in the MCU since then despite her father, Thunderbolt Ross (now played by Harrison Ford), having a prominent role in Captain America: Civil War. It’ll be interesting how the studio will explain her absence for the last decade of Bruce Banner’s life.

Captain America: New World Order hits theaters May 3rd, 2024
