Casting for Marvel Studios is currently underway for the main roles in Marvel Studios upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. While we at Knight Edge Media have heard multiple names linked to Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm. We have also heard that the film is expected to go cosmic and introduce Galactus right off the bat. Apparently, Doctor Doom may only be mentioned in the film, which is a massive departure from the previous two Fox-led films of the early 2000s. Though a great move by Marvel to set up Doom as an over-arching villian much like Loki.

According to multiple rumors from DanielRPK and MyTimeToShine, an offer has already been sent out for actor Antonino Banderas (Uncharted, Puss in Boots) to play Galactus, the devourer of worlds. Though it should be noted this doesn’t mean Banderas has agreed to the contract. It’s currently unknown how the character will be portrayed on screen as the 2007 film had nothing more than a space cloud to many fans’ displeasure. It’s also unknown if he will have his herald in the film or in another project typically associated with the Silver Surfer. It would be nice to have Laurence Fishburne (John Wick, Batman v Superman) return to voice the Silver Surfer in the MCU though that is just fan speculation. Production is expected to begin in early 2024 in Atlanta.
