Marvel Studios ‘Daredevil’ Disney+ Series Announced with Writers Matt Corman & Chris Ord

Daredevil disney plus series

Today, Variety announced that a long-rumored Daredevil series will be moving forward at Disney+. Writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs) will pen the series that will once again star Charlie Cox as the Man Without Fear. Cox appeared first in Spider-Man: No Way Home after denying his cameo appearance for over a year.

We at Knight Edge Media revealed that he is expected to appear in several more Marvel Studios projects, including She-Hulk, Echo, and his series. Cox’s Netflix series co-star Vincent D’Onofrio also returned as The Kingpin in Hawkeye.  A Daredevil series seemed to be picking up steam when Marvel Studios registered an LLC in March. It’s unknown if this new series will continue the Netflix series, but with different writers, this may be a complete reboot featuring a “variant” version of Matt Murdock. Just yesterday, fellow Defenders co-stars Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter both teased on Instagram that they were together in LA for a mysterious reason. Could they be back as well playing their Netflix characters Luke Cage and Jessica Jones?

Daredevil has no set release date for Disney+
