Christopher Walken Joins ‘Dune: Part Two’ as The Emperor

Today, Variety announced that actor Christopher Walken has joined the cast of Dune: Part Two. He will star as Shaddam IV, the Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe.  He joins the previously announced Florence Pugh and Austin Butler as Princess Irulan and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya will return from the first film alongside director Denis Villeneuve. Jon Spaihts will also return to co-write the film with Villeneuve. Production began this Fall.

Dune: Part Two hits theaters on Oct. 20, 2023
