Chris Evans Enters Talks To Return as ‘Captain America’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Chris Evans DS2 Banner1

Today, Deadline announced that Chris Evans is looking to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America. The character was retired in the 1950’s living his life with his long last love Peggy Carter (played by Hayley Atwell) after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It was expected that Chris Evans and Robert Downy Jr. had finally given up their roles in the MCU until now. The report mentions it doesn’t know which Marvel film he will return in but it won’t be another solo film.

Some fans have suggested Chris Evans could be returning as an alternate version of Captain America from another Earth. More specifically Hydra Cap from an Earth introduced in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Other fans have suggested he will return as old man Steve Rogers seen at the end of Avengers: Endgame in Black Panther 2. Never-the-less, Chris Evans isn’t done with the role we all adore him in…

Avengers: Endgame is on  Blu-Ray & DVD today
