RUMOR: Lake Bell Cast as Lucia Von Bardas in Marvel Studios ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

Lake Bell Black Panther Wakanda Forever

Production has been well underway for Marvel Studios upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Atlanta Filming has nabbed several set photos from the Atlanta set, which features actress Lake Bell. Lake Bell recently voiced Natasha Romanoff in several episodes of What If and Poison Ivy on Harley Quinn. Many thought she could be playing a live-action variant of Black Widow after the falling out between Disney and Scarlett Johansson.

However, new Twitter rumors suggest she will be playing the role of Lucia Von Baradas in the sequel. The role is expected to be minor, like Dane Whiteman (played by Kit Harrington) in the Eternals. While most random online rumors don’t mean anything, we at Knight Edge Media heard back in 2020 that the character will be introduced into the MCU sometime soon. Lucia Von Baradas is a Marvel Ultimate Alliance II character that takes over Latveria from Doctor Doom. In 2019, another rumor began that Doctor Doom would be introduced into the Black Panther sequel since the rights reverted from 20th Century Fox but that rumor never materialized. It should be noted Lake Bell’s casting has yet to be announced by the studio

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters November 11, 2022
