Today, Netflix announced that several more actors will be joining the ensemble cast for The Sandman. Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Death), Mason Alexander Park (Desire), Donna Preston (Despair), Niamh Walsh (Young Ethel Cripps), Joely Richardson (Ethel Cripps), David Thewlis (John Dee), Kyo Ra (Rose Walker), Stephen Fry (Gilbert), Razane Jammal (Lyta Hall), Sandra James Young (Unity Kincaide) and Patton Oswalt (will voice Matthew the Raven) all join the cast. Finally, Jenna Coleman will play a (kinda) gender-swapped Constantine. In the comics, Johanna Constantine is John Constantine’s great-Grandmother. However, they have decided to use her character as the modern-day Constantine for the series instead of John.

The Sandman will stream exclusively on Netflix
