Amazon Begins Development on ‘Jem and the Holograms’ Live-Action TV Series

Prime Video has begun early development on a Jem and the Holograms live-action TV series.

Today, a report announced that Prime Video has begun early development on a Jem and the Holograms live-action TV series. The aniamted character was originally created by Hasbro back in the 1980s alongside Transformers and G.I. Joe. Wicked director Jon M. Chu directed a live-action movie about the character in 2015, which received pretty terrible reviews from critics. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan are set to produce the series under their Kilter Films production banner. The duo is best known for showrunning HBO’s Westworld and Amazon’s Fallout live-action series.
