Today, a report announced that comedian Peter Serafinowicz has joined the cast of HBO’s Harry Potter TV series. Serafinowicz is best known for appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy, Shaun of the Dead, and Parks & Rec. He is set to play the mischievous ghost, Peeves the Poltergeist. The character was going to be in the original film and played by Rik Mayall. However, his character was completely cut from the first film and was never revisited. He does make an appearance in the video game Hogwarts: Legacy. It’s unknown if he will appear in season 1 or will be held off until season 2. Production on season 2 will begin this fall back in the UK.
