Production on Warner Bros and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter TV series has been underway in London for about a month. It has already been announced that newcomer Alastair Stout has taken over the iconic role of Ron Weasley. The rest of his family was not announced until today, and they include Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland as twins Fred and George Weasley, Ruari Spooner as Percy Weasley, and Gracie Cochrane as young Ginny Weasley. Katherine Parkinson was already announced as the fan-favorite mother, Molly Weasley. The father, Arthur Weasley, has yet to be cast. The oldest brother, Bill Weasley, doesn’t appear until later on in the novels, and Charlie Weasley was never really featured in the films. It will be interesting to see how these new actors are received, given how well the original actors, James and Oliver Phelps, were loved in the films. They also returned to host the Harry Potter baking show on the Food Network just last year.
