We have also learned that episode eight writer Craig Silverstein has been added as co-showrunner. Silverstein has showrun multiple shows, including Turn: Washington’s Spies and Nikita. Avatar: The Last Airbender season 1 showrunner Albert Kim has also come over to Executive Produce season 2, as he worked with Silverstein on Nikita. Production is expected to begin later this Fall, according to Rick Riordan’s Blog. Becky Riordan has confirmed on the news in a recent comment on Threads.

Theatrical monologues are a legit form of screenwriting. If you watch Jon’s [Steinberg] previous works you see it is his preferred style. Craig [Silverstein] who is show running season 2, monologue isn’t his style of storytelling as his writing style is more action driven which one needs for season two even though since the show is based on a book and the show is a story driven narrative. Craig even was asked that question by the network after reading the first script.

Update from the original post that had an inaccuracy: We have learned that Craig Silverstein has joined the team as co-showrunner alongside Jonathan E. Steinberg & Dan Shotz.
