Greta Lee & Jodie Turner-Smith Both Join Disney’s ‘Tron: Ares’

Today, Variety announced that actresses Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith both have joined the cast of Disney’s Tron: Ares. Turner-Smith is best known for her role in Queen & Slim. While Lee has garnered some acclaim for her role in Past Lives. They join the previously announced Evan Peters and Jared Leto as the AI program Ares. In 2020, Disney was looking at Mulan actress Liu Yifei for the lead role. Production begins this August in Vancouver by Pirates 5 director Joachim Rønning.
