Eman Esfandi Joins ‘Star Wars: Ahsoka’ Disney+ Series as Fan-Favorite Jedi Ezra Bridger

Today, our friends over at Cinelinx announced that actor Eman Esfandi has joined the cast of Star Wars: Ahsoka as fan-favorite Star Wars: Rebels character Ezra Bridger. The upcoming series is expected to follow Ahsoka (played by Rosario Dawson) as she hunts Grand Admiral Thrawn in search of Ezra. For a time, Aladdin star Mena Massoud campaigned for the role though he has since moved on to romantic comedies. We at Knight Edge Media had heard the name rumored as a possible choice but never could confirm his addition. He is expected to be announced during Lucasfilm’s D23 panel later this weekend.
