Disney+ Series ‘Loki’ Will Tie Directly Into ‘Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness’

Today, on Bloomberg Businessweek Marvel Head Kevin Feige revealed that the upcoming Loki Disney+ series will indeed tie directly into Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. He adds “I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before. But it does.” This isn’t the first show that directly ties into the film as WandaVision will also tie into the film with Elizabeth Olsen returning for both the show and film as Wanda Maximoff.

It should also be noted that this version of Loki is not the redeemed version seen in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War. This version is the evil 2012 version of Loki seen escaping Avengers: Endgame with the Tesseract. What he does jumping around different points in time will have an impact in the Doctor Strange sequel. It was also revealed that Loki is expected to begin production January 2020 in Atlanta.

Loki will stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2021
