‘Moon Knight’ Season 2 Put Into Early Development By Oscar Isaac and Director Mohamed Diab

Today, Moon Knight series director Mohamed Diab posted a TikTok seemingly confirming he is with star Oscar Isaac in Cairo, Egypt discussing the next season. The series was not originally announced during the Marvel Studios panel at San Deigo Comic-Con last month but could be officially announced at D23 in September. As many of the Phase 6 titles were not announced (though untitled dates were set) beyond Fantastic Four, The Kang Dynasty, and Secret Wars. It’s unknown if head writer Jeremy Slater will return to the series as he still has The Umbrella Academy season 4 and Mortal Kombat 2 to pen. The first season had almost no direct connection to the larger Marvel universe but did introduce audiences to Marc Spector’s dormant third personality Jake Lockley.
