‘The Hunger Games’ Prequel is Currently In Production With A Mysterious Cast

Today, during the Lionsgate CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas the studio announced that The Hunger Games prequel was currently in production. Surprising the audiences and online fans alike; the studio didn’t reveal the mysterious cast.

The original films debuted in 2012 during the young adult “post-apocalyptic” film craze that included the Twilight, Divergent, and The Maze Runner franchises.  The upcoming film titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be based on the novel that features a young Coriolanus Snow before he became the tyrannical president of Panam. Director Francis Lawrence returned with writer Michael Arndt.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will hit theater November 17th, 2023
