Last year, John Wick 4 supposedly concluded the story of John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves as the retired Russian assassin. The movie introduced audiences to the blind assassin Caine, played by Donnie Yen. He was a former associate of Wick but was also sent out to take down Wick following the events of John Wick 3. Lionsgate has developed a spin-off film focusing on Caine as he takes on the Continental assassin underground in Hong Kong. The Umbrella Academy writer Robert Askins has been tapped to write the script for the untitled film. Production will begin sometime in 2025 in Hong Kong. No director is currently attached.

Untitled Caine Movie has no set release date
