Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, and Harvey Guillén Board DC Comics ‘Blue Beetle’

Today, The Wrap announced that Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, and Harvey Guillén have all joined DC Comics Blue Beetle. the upcoming film will star Cobra Kia breakout star Xolo Maridueña as Jamie Reyes. Marquezine will play his love-interest Penny. While Escobedo will play Jamie’s younger sister Milagros. However, Guillén’s role is being kept under wraps for the time being. Guillén made a name for himself in the FX dark-comedy series What We Do In The Shadows. Angel Manuel Soto is set to direct the film with a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. Production will begin later this fall.
