Marvel Cinematic Universe Will Introduce Latveria and Lucia von Bardas Very Soon

Latveria MCU Banner1

Recently, our friend Daniel Ritchman has revealed on his Patreon that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 character Lucia von Bardas will be entering the MCU very soon. In the comics, Lucia von Bardas was a professor at the University of North Carolina. She becomes the Prime Minister of Latveria after Doctor Doom is posed as the supreme ruler. With the introduction of von Bardas, it seems the country of Latveria could very much be introduced into the MCU as a precursor to Doctor Doom’s introduction. They did this with a mention of Wakanda in Avengers: Age of Ultron before Black Panther was introduced into the MCU. Doctor Doom could very well end up being a large over-arching villain of the MCU like Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) was in the first 3 Phases.
