Screenwriter Yassir Lester Boards Marvel Studios ‘Armor Wars’ Disney+ Series

Recently, The Hollywood Reporter announced that stand-up comic and screenwriter Yassir Lester has joined Marvel Studios Armor Wars as its head writer. The writer is best known for penning Girls and The Carmicheal Show. He re-teams with star Don Cheadle when they worked on the Showtime series Black Monday. The series has yet to reveal any directors. Kevin Feige returns to produce the project. Armor Wars begins production in 2022.
