Ewan McGregor Will Appear in the ‘Andor’ Disney+ Series as Obi-Wan Kenobi

Kenobi Andor Banner1

Today, The Illuminerdi revealed that Ewan McGregor is expected to appear in the Andor Disney+ series as Obi-Wan Kenobi. This comes as a shock as the actor hasn’t played the character since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith. However, his character is getting his own series set 5 years before the events of Cassian Andor. In the series, Cassian is a rebel spy working to dismantle to Empire. It has now been revealed he doesn’t believe in “The Force” at this time in his life. It’s unknown if he will come face-to-face with the Jedi master but McGregor is expected to have a recurring role. Andor is currently in production and Kenobi begins production later this month…

Andor & Kenobi will both stream exclusively on Disney+
