Rachel Zegler Joins DC Comics ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’

Today, The Wrap announced that Rachel Zegler has joined the cast of DC Comics Shazam: Fury of the Gods. Zegler was handpicked by Steven Speilberg to appear in his West Side Story remake as Maria. The report states her character is being kept under wraps.

However, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that the role could be one of the Three Witches (also called The Kindly Ones). The sisters include Cynthia, Mildred, and Mordred in DC Comics. A casting call went out for a 17-year-old sister modeled after Zendaya, a middle-aged sister modeled after Halle Berry, and an older sister modeled after Helen Mirran. Zachary Levi returns as Shazam with Asher Angel returns as Billy Batson. David F. Sandberg returns to helm the sequel.
