Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke Will Star in HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’ TV Series

Today, EW announced that Matt Smith Emma D’Arcy, and Olivia Cooke will join the Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon. Matt Smith will play Prince Daemon Targaryen the younger brother of King Viserys. Emma D’Arcy will play Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen the King’s firstborn daughter with pure Valarian blood. Finally. Olivia Cook will play Alicent Hightower the daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King. They join previously announced Paddy Considine who plays High King Viserys. Production begins in 2021.
