Jaimie Alexander Returns as Lady Sif in ‘Thor: Love & Thunder’ and ‘Loki’ Disney+ Series

Today, Deadline announced that actress Jaimie Alexander would be returning as Lady Sif in Thor: Love and Thunder. The character has been absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2013’s Thor: The Dark World and a cameo on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That was due to Alexander moving to television and starring in NBC’s Blindspot for several seasons. It’ll be interesting to see how they explain her absence as Asgard was destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok. As well as the Warriors Three being murdered at the hands of Hela.

The report does mention the character may show up in Loki set to debut next May. Loki may have kept her locked away on a distant planet due to him messing with the timeline. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor alongside Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Christian Bale has boarded the project as the film’s antagonist Gorr the God Butcher. Taika Watttii returns to write and direct the project.
