Samuel L Jackson Returns as Nick Fury in Untitled Marvel Disney+ Series

Fury Secret Invasion Banner1

Today, Variety announced that an untitled Marvel Studios series is headed to Disney+ streaming service. The report states that Nick Fury (with Samual L Jackson returning) will be a main character in the upcoming series but it won’t focus solely on him. The project was rumored back in 2019 by our friend Daniel Ritchman on his Patreon. Kyle Bradstreet is set to write and executive produce the project as well.

Many speculate that this will explain how the real Nick Fury ended up on a Skrull space ship at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. When it was revealed that Talos has been impersonating Nick Fury throughout the last several movies. Also, with the introduction of the Agents of S.W.O.R.D intergalactic agency, it’s possible this project will be a jumping-off point for Secret Invasion.
