Today, a report has gone out that Scooby-Doo is getting a TV Series reboot by Warner Brothers and Netflix. The series is currently titled Scooby-Doo! The Live-Action Series and will be developed by screenwriters Josh Appelbaum & Scott Rosenberg. Both writers previously worked on the series Citadel for Amazon Prime. Appelbaum co-wrote 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while Rosenberg co-wrote Jumanji: The Next Level. Producer Greg Berlanti has also boarded the project under his Berlanti Productions banner. Berlanti helped produce several other live-action adaptions, including Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He also helped produce the Arrowverse on The CW, which includes Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. Fans have long wanted WB to produce another live-action film with original stars Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini, and Matthew Lillard. However, it never came to pass.
