While speaking to Bloody Disgusting the actress mentions “After spending time speaking with Radio Silence, they have shown such love, respect and admiration for Wes Craven and all that he’s created in the Scream franchise. I am beyond excited to step back into the role of Sidney Prescott and return to Woodsboro.” Campbell returns alongside her Scream co-stars Courtney Cox and David Arquette as Gale Weathers and Sheriff Dewy Riley.
Lastly, Deadline mentions that 13 Reasons Why star Dylan Minnette joins the cast. As well as Mason Gooding and Mikey Madison rounding out the cast. Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will dual-helm the project after the late Wes Craven passed away.
