Today, a new report confirms that Marvel Television expects to end Daredevil: Born Again after its third season next year. This comes as showrunner Dario Scarpapane exited the project mid-post-production, though it’s almost done. The third season was set to finally bring back Luke Cage and Iron Fist as they reunite with Jessica Jones and Daredevil to take on the Kingpin one last time. It was always expected to be a three-season revival following its original three seasons on Netflix in the mid-2010’s. Many fans are hoping this won’t be the last we see of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, hopefully one day in a crossover with Spider-Man, like Jon Bernthal did with The Punisher. Production ended earlier this year in New York City.
Daredevil: Born Again will stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2027
