Daredevil: Born Again season 3 has been filming over the last several weeks under the working title Out The Kitchen, following the season 2 debut on Disney+ last week. We already have had The Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal) appear in season 1, and Jessica Jones (played by Krysten Ritter) expected to appear in the season 2 finale. Now, a recent slew of set photos seems to indicate that Mike Colter and Finn Jones will now appear in season 3 as the “Heroes for Hire” Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
They are the final two Defenders from the Netflix era that have yet to appear in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the two have always wanted to return as their characters, they never knew whether Marvel Studios would bring them back (via MovieWeb). As the Born Again series is heading towards a climactic showdown between Mayor Wilson Fisk (played by Vincent D’Onofrio) and all street-level heroes, it was only a matter of time before Cage and Iron Fist joined the fight. The duo has yet to be officially announced by Marvel Studios, though their set photos officially uploaded to the Getty website (below).
