Sadie Sink Will Return for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ As a Mystery Character

Sadie Sink is set to return in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Secret Wars as a secret Marvel Comics character.

Over the last week, a report secretly revealed that actress Sadie Sink is set to return in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Secret Wars. Sink is best known for her role on Stranger Things, but will debut on stage on London’s West End this winter. Then begin production on Secret Wars in the spring back in London. Currently, her Marvel character is being kept under wraps after she was announced to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tons of rumors have swirled around her secret character, from laughable guesses like Jean Grey to real possibilities like Firestar.

Another possibility was Mayday Parker, daughter of Peter and MJ. If the rumors that Tobey Maguire will appear in Avengers: Doomsday and Sink are true, is Mayday Parker from the original Sony Spider-Man-verse timeline? Their meeting in Avengers: Secret Wars could be very much like a Back to the Future moment, meeting his daughter from the future (if he survives Doom). However, this is all just pure fan speculation. Her mystery role is expected to be revealed sometime during the third act of Brand New Day. It should be noted that Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man is not expected to appear in Avengers: Doomsday but will return for Avengers: Secret Wars. This makes sense as Peter Parker actually gets the Venom symbiote and iconic black suit during the Secret Wars comic book event (teased in Spider-Man: No Way Home).

Avengers: Secret Wars hits theaters on December 17th, 2027
