Today, a report announced that screenwriter Ana Nogueira has been tapped to pen the script for DC Studios’ Wonder Woman reboot. Nogueira has been James Gunn’s go-to screenwriter, having penned next year’s Supergirl and the still-in-development Teen Titans live-action movie.

The Wonder Woman reboot script was recently fast-tracked by DC Studios, as well as Batman: The Brave and the Bold. However, that film won’t be released until after Matt Reeves finishes his Batman films. The last two Wonder Woman films starred Gal Gadot and were directed by Patty Jenkins, who are both not expected to return for this new DC Cinematic Universe. Many fans have fancast May Calamawy (Moon Knight) or Adria Arjona (Andor) in the title role.
