Callina Liang Joins ‘Street Fighter’ as Chun-Li; 50 Cent Rumored To Join

Callina Liang has joined the cast of Legendary’s Street Fighter live-action movie.

Today, a report announced that actress Callina Liang has joined the cast of Legendary’s Street Fighter live-action movie. She has only been in a few projects, but recently appeared in last year’s Presence. Liang is also set to play the fan-favorite character Chun-Li.

The role was originally played by Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) in the critically panned 2009 spin-off movie, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, and by Ming-Na Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) in the 1994 movie. She joins Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns, and Orville Peck. According to a separate report by Nexus Point News, actor and rapper 50 Cent is also rumored to appear in the movie as Balrog. However, he has yet to be confirmed for the role.
