Netflix’s ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ Lead Child Casting Call Is Open To Any Ethnicity

Netflix’s The Chronicles of Narnia lead child actors casting call is open to British actors of any ethnicity.

Today, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that a casting call for The Chronicles of Narnia lead actors is open to British actors of “any ethnicity.” The casting call for the lead male and female child was revealed several months ago. However, the streaming service is still searching for the two leads. The casting call also includes another lead male of East Indian descent with a British accent. Unlike the Harry Potter projects, Narnia is open to US-based actors:

[ BOY 1 ]
9-12 year old, British boy of Indian descent (Indian Father/White Mother). Looking for an exceptional male actor to play lead character. Must have authentic British accent. LEAD
[ BOY 2 ]
9-12 year old, British, looking for an exceptional male actor to play an important character. Any ethnicity. Must have authentic British accent. LEAD
[ GIRL 1]
9-12 year old, British, looking for an exceptional female actor to play an important character. Any ethnicity. Must have authentic British accent. LEAD
As previously reported, production in the United Kingdom begins in June and runs through December. Amy Pascal, Mark Gordon, and Vincent Sieber will produce the film, which Greta Gerwig will direct. Francine Maisler and Nina Gold are the casting directors for both the US and UK-based actors.
