Andy Muschietti In Talks To Helm DC Studios ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’

Ever since DC Studios head James Gunn began gushing over his excitement for the release of The Flash. Many fans have speculated that Gunn could hire director Andy Muschietti (IT) for a future DC Studios gig following the film’s release.

Now our friends over at One Take News have confirmed the rumors that Muschietti is indeed in talks to helm Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The film was announced in January during the DC Studios film slate and will feature an older Batman alongside a young Damian Wayne as Robin. According to MyTimeToShine, Christina Hodson (The Flash, Birds of Prey) has been tasked to pen the script.

UPDATE: The report has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter though they state nothing will move forward until after the WGA strike.
