Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that upcoming Hellboy actress Adeline Rudolph has joined the cast of Mortal Kombat 2. This comes from news that THR broke last week when Tati Gabrielle was also in talks to join the cast. The two first teamed up on Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as The Weird Sisters.

Rudolph is in talks to play the character Kitana, while Gabrielle will play Jade. The two characters will have a connection, much like the actresses in real life. Karl Urban was recently announced to be playing fan-favorite Johnny Cage in the sequel. Simon McQuoid returns to direct the film from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater.
