Today, during the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, Lucasfilm confirmed that original voice actor Lars Mikkelsen has indeed returned to play Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn was originally created by author Timothy Zahn as part of a series of Star Wars novels released in the 1990s that covered the events following 1983’s “Return of the Jedi.” But he was then resurrected into the Star Wars canon with Star Wars: Rebels.
