Lucasfilm Considering Bringing Back Lars Mikkelsen as Live-Action Grand Admiral Thrawn

Mikkelson Thrawn Star Wars Banner

Today, our friend Daniel Ritchman revealed on his Patreon that Lucasfilm is considering casting Lars Mikkelsen for the role of Grand Admiral Thrawn in a future Disney+ show. Mikkelsen (brother of Mads Mikkelsen) voiced the fav favorite character on Star Wars Rebels. It would make sense they bring back Mikkelsen to play the character over multiple Rebel-era shows. This would also lead many to assume they may consider bringing Sam Witwer to play the live-action version of Maul instead of just voice. Based on the rumor, Ray Park will not return after posting sexually explicit images on his Instagram.
