Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced a slew of actors has joined Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again series on Disney+. The report confirms Michael Gandolfini had joined the cast, as well as Michael Gaston and Margarita Levieva. They also report that actress Sandrine Holt will play the role of Vanessa Fisk alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as The Kingpin.
In the original Netflix series, Man of Steel actress Ayelet Zurer played the role of Vanessa. Her chemistry alongside D’Onofrio was a significant highlight. Dexter director Michael Cuesta has boarded the project to help direct the pilot episode. Charlie Cox returns as the title hero from co-showrunners Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Jon Bernthal will also return as The Punisher. Production is currently underway in New York City.
Daredevil: Born Again will stream on Disney+ sometime in late 2024
