Walt Disney Announces ‘Toy Story’ ‘Frozen’ and ‘Zootopia’ Sequels

Today, Walt Disney held its quarterly earnings meeting with returning CEO Bob Iger. During the financial meeting, the head of Disney announced that several animated sequels were on the way from Walt Disney Animation and Pixar. Iger announced that Pixar is hard at work developing Toy Story 5 after the lackluster response to Lightyear last year. Also, a third film is in the works for the hugely popular Frozen franchise. Finally announcing that Zootopia will get a sequel after a Disney+ series debuted on the streaming network in late 2022. No casting or directors are attached to the projects just yet.
