Today, star Jason Momoa announced that Justice League star Ben Affleck will return again to play Bruce Wayne in the Aquaman sequel. It’s surprising the studio is adding Affleck into the movie during reshoots after several test screenings for the film, including Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne. The two will appear in the upcoming Flash film, but Keaton was expected to continue as the main Bruce Wayne. He is already expected to appear alongside Leslie Grace in the upcoming Batgirl film. It’s unknown how the DC universe will look following The Flash and Shazam, but it seems Affleck was still game for yet another appearance on a character he long said goodbye to.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom hits theaters on March 17th, 2023
