Seth Grahame-Smith Set To Showrun HBO Max’s ‘ Green Lantern’ TV Series

Recently, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Seth Grahame-Smith (The Lego Batman) has been hired to show run the Green Lantern series for HBO Max. The series was announced several years ago by The CW producer Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Arrow) and comic book writer Geoff Johns. It was also announced that Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim will help pen the very first episode of the series. Marc Guggenheim also helped co-write the original 2011 Green Lantern film. The series will follow several Lanterns beside Hal  Jordan and John Stewart. The team will consist of Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, and Alan Scott, as well as re-introduce Sinestro and Kilowag.
